For the needs of manufacturers and distributors/importers, or authorized representatives, marketing certain construction products or incorporating these products into buildings, the Fire Testing Laboratory PAVUS, a.s. provides certification of these products, based on the type of product and the requirement for its assessment according to the national or European legislation (harmonized). Furthermore, it is possible to issue a facultative certification for not specified construction products.

Via e-mail you can receive information on issued, limited, suspended and withdrawn/cancelled certificates, such as the date of issue of the document, information on its validity, the subject of the certification, the standard/technical specification used, or the name of the manufacturer/owner. To verify the authenticity of the documents, you can send a query (possibly with an attached copy of the document) to the e-mail address of the product certification body leader. We provide issued certification documents and their copies only to document owners based on a contractual relationship.

National certification

PAVUS, a.s. as the Authorized Body No. 216, within the scope of the Decision (groups of products), carries out conformity assessment according to Government Regulation No. 163/2002 Coll. – certification (according to §5 or §5a); assessment of the production control system (according to §6); conformity verification (according to §7).

European certification

PAVUS, a.s. as Notified Body No. 1391, within the scope of the Authorization (group of products), carries out the performance assessment using the relevant system of assessment and verification of the maintenance of performance (AVCP, system 1+ or system 1 or system 2+), specified in the harmonized European standard, according to the Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

Certification body for product certification

PAVUS, a.s. as the Certification Body for product certification No. 3041 within the scope of Accreditation Certificate (product certification) carries out facultative certification (conformity assessment) according to PAVUS-2 or PAVUS-3 certification scheme for not specified construction products (according to the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council). These are primarily fire resistant cabinets, fire resistant storage facilities, storage compartments; circuit integrity maintenance of electric cable systems – according to DIN 4102-12.
