Realisation and operation of waste gas treatment facility
During the fire resistance testing of construction products and systems, the tested material degrades and various combustion products are produced. In order to protect the air, the Fire Testing Laboratory PAVUS, a.s. in Veselí nad Lužnicí operates a complex system for the purification of waste gases from test furnaces, which, in a unique technological way, ensures that the concentration values of polluting substances comply with strict legislative requirements.
This solution thus contributes to the sustainability of the testing activities of PAVUS, a.s., thanks to which it is possible to examine the behaviour of construction systems and materials in fire conditions and to prevent real fire with possible consequences in the form of loss of life and major ecological or material damage.

As part of a continuous effort to minimize the environmental impact of our company's activities as well as a partial response to ESG principles, a roof photovoltaic power plant (PV) of 50 kWp has been realized in 2024. This investment will optimize the consumption of non-renewable energy required for operations and at the same time reduce the total CO2 emissions associated with the company's activities. We believe that even this small step will help to improve the overall sustainability of Czech industry and the environment.
