Fire testing facility PAVUS, a.s. in Veselí n. Lužnicí now has a high-pressure pump that enables testing of water mist fire extinguishing devices and their components. The technical parameters of the pump reach a pressure of up to 130 bar and a flow rate of up to 150 l/min. The power of the electric motor is 39 kW and the regulation is carried out by a frequency converter and/or by-pass.
This expands the possibilities of performing tests of the extinguishing ability of high-pressure fog extinguishing devices according to the procedures of the ČSN EN 14972-XX series of standards for specified objects and relevant fire hazards, as well as all components of these systems, especially fog nozzles/heads.
